1. Björlanda Church. A medieval church in Björlanda, Gothenburg Municipality. It is located on Hisingen and belongs to the parish of Torslanda-Björlanda. It was built in the 12th and has since been renovated and extended numerous times.

3. Domkyrkan, Gustavi domkyrka. Gothenburg Cathedral. On 10 and 11 August 1633 superintendent Andreas Prytz consecrated this Protestant church with two sermons: “On the right use of churches” and “On the consecration of churches”.
It is located in the very centre, on Västra Hamngatan and Kyrkogatan 28, 411 15 Göteborg. Tram # 2, 6 and 11.
4. The big Sunni Mosqué, located on Hisingen. The construction of the mosque was entirely funded by Saudi Arabia and is run by the Swedish Muslim Foundation. It was inaugurated in June 2011. Myntgatan 4, 41701 Göteborg. Tram # 5 and 6.
5. The Chapel of St Bridget. It was built by David Carnegie, for those who lived and worked at Carnegie mills. It was modeled on the chapel that was situated in Carnegie’s home village in Scotland. Both the Scottish Chapel and St. Bridget’s Chapel are named after the Irish-Scottish saint Brigid of Kildare. It is one of the diocese’s most popular wedding churches. Klippan 2, 414 41. 1. St Andrew’s Church or the Church of England. A building located in the very centre of the city (close to Domkyrkan) in the municipality of Gothenburg that belongs to the Church of England, where it is part of the diocese in Europe. This Anglican church was consecrated on November 30, 1857. Hvitfeldtsplatsen 2, 411 20. Tram # 2,6 and 11.
2. Wat Pha Thai. Wat Pha is a Buddhist temple within the Theravada tradition. The temple has existed in the Gothenburg area since 2002, when the association Buddha Saddhadamma was formed by Thais living in Sweden and by Swedes who wanted to learn more about Buddhism. www.buddhasd.se. 5. The Catholic Church, Christ the King. The parish is the oldest of three Catholic parishes in Gothenburg, and the second in Sweden. In 1861, a Catholic priest prepared the formation of a Catholic parish in Gothenburg. It was founded the following year. At that time, 50 Catholics lived in the city (Germans, French and Italians). In 1937, the foundation stone of Christ the King’s Catholic Church was laid, and on October 2, 1938, the first high mass was held in the new church. It is located in the very centre of the city, at the end of the recreation and sport area called Heden, Parkgatan 16, 411 38 Göteborg.

2. Deutsche Kirchengemeinde Göteborg /Tyska Christinae församling. This German Church is named after Queen Christina, and was inaugurated in 1748. It was used by the German and Dutch congregations in Gothenburg. Norra Hamngatan 16, in the same area as Domkyrkan and St Andrew’s Church.
