Welcome Reception

The welcome reception is hosted in collaboration with the City of Gothenburg. Pre-registration is mandatory if you want to attend. The Welcome reception includes light mingle food and drinks.

Excursion

Excursion by boat to Älvsborg Fortress 21st August approx. 13.00-17.00, the trip includes a round trip ticket on the boat, guided tour at the Fortress and lunch.
The excursion costs SEK 500 ex. VAT and pre-registration is mandatory if you want to attend. (It is possible to bring an accompanying person to the excursion for a fee).

The boat leaves from Lilla Bommen at 13.00. The easiest way to get there would be to go by tram or bus to Lilla Bommen.

Today, visitors can delve into this exciting history through guided tours and various exhibitions that provide a fascinating insight into the fortress’s rich cultural heritage.

Step aboard our Paddan sightseeing boat in the centre of the city at Kungsportsplatsen. See the old moat and canals that date from the 17th century while learning about the history of Gothenburg’s construction and defence. The classic city tour on the Paddan boats shows you the beauty of Gothenburg from a waterside perspective. The tour takes you under 20 bridges and out to the harbour.

This guided boat tour with Paddan continues beneath Gothenburg’s many low bridges, which brings us out into the fascinating harbour with traditional shipyards, the fishing harbour, new and old housing, expanding commercial and academic sites and maritime museum.
